L’artista appena giunto a Tokyo ha ravvisato una mancanza ineffabile che con il passare dei giorni si è formalizzata con la mancanza del paesaggio naturale, terra, erba come elemento necessario alla realizzazione del lavoro. Nel contempo il sentimento di schiacciamento dello spirituale da parte del pragmatismo della società contemporanea ha innescato l’idea di realizzare una fortificazione dell’area creandone un’isolamento al quale si sono aggiunti in seguito l’elemento della ruspa con la scultura. L’opera tratta dei conflitti tra l’intimità e la fragilità e della necessità di proteggere queste fragilità quale luogo della ricerca.

As soon as he arrived in Tokyo, the artist noticed an ineffable lack that, as the days went by, was formalized by the lack of natural landscape, earth, grass as a necessary element for the realization of the work. At the same time, the feeling of crushing of the spiritual by the pragmatism of contemporary society triggered the idea of fortifying the area, creating an isolation to which the element of the bulldozer and the sculpture were later added. The work deals with the conflicts between intimacy and fragility and the need to protect these fragilities as a place of research.
